The trailer of Sadak 2 movie featuring Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, and Aditya Roy Kapoor received almost a million dislikes on youtube soon after its release. It got released around Wednesday morning and sooner it hit almost millions of dislikes within the late afternoon. It is going to be released officially on August 28, 2020, on digital platform non-other than Disney+ Hotstar Platform. It is a very unusual situation of getting so many dislikes even after having so marquee casts. According to previous norms and conditions of People’s anger to boycott Sadak 2 is acting humongous via. internet media.


The declared decision of boycotting the star kids films by the agitated nation after Sushant Singh Rajput’s untimely demise and after knowing the harsh fact of Nepotism is working at par on the internet. After the tragic demise of the Late actor, when everybody came to know the harsh truth behind the reasons of pushing him to the edge of depression and helplessness the Nation got bewildered and angry on the Bollywood insiders. Certain celebrities came under great controversies, amongst which Alia Bhatt was trolled for saying dismissively of Sushant on the Karan Johar’s show of  “Koffee With Karan”. The debate went on to fire after certain revelations by other actors in the Industry spoke about instances related to it.



Sushant Singh Rajput was not only an excellent actor but he was overall outstanding throughout his life at his Academics and career brilliantly. But, for the sole reason of not having any Godfather in the Biggies industry cost him heavier and six movie offers refrained from him which was earlier decided in his favor. It created a wave of massive anger throughout the denizens, not only by his fans but certainly other people who could relate to it. After that, continuous criticism of nepotism and favoritism blew wildly by the angered public.

Also, Alia Bhatt being trending on twitter media was enough to prove somehow the grudge is going to continue forever by the people. Sadak 2 is directed by Mahesh Bhatt, who has also contributed a large part of the hatred by Social media and also said of having great terms and associations with Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty who is a prime suspect in Sushant’s death case. Rhea is alleged of many charge sheets until now by Sushant’s father and other sources of having direct involvement in the abetment of Sushant’s suicide. Sushant’s father K.K Singh has filed a case against money laundering and abetment of suicide of his son against Rhea. She has been accused of transferring an amount of nearly 15 crore rupees illegally through Sushant’s bank account and driving him towards suicide.


Sushant’s last movie Dil Bechara got a whopping 10 million likes on the very day of its trailer release and viewers applauded his performance heavily after watching the film. Other recently released movies got certain applauds by the critics and viewers like Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starring Gulabo Sitabo, Vidya Balan’s Shakuntala Devi and even the recently released Gunjan Saxena starring  Janhvi Kapoor, who is even a star kid. She was listed in the names of the star kids list who are said to be boycott further in the Industry. But eventually, it didn’t happen to a surprise.



Sadak 2 is a sequel to hit Sadak (1991), which too was directed by Mahesh Bhatt only featuring Sanjay Dutt and Pooja Bhatt. Sanjay Dutt was diagnosed with lung cancer for which he took a medical break from Bollywood and announced just before the day of the release of the official trailer of the movie. The movie is set to release on August 28 this year in which Sanjay Dutt is playing the role of a driver and Alia Bhatt stars as a young woman who has a thrilling part to play. Aditya Roy Kapoor is also playing a lead role followed by other co-actors like Makarand Deshpande and Gulshan Grover as important casts.
