Air Force objects to film ‘Gunjan Saxena : The Kargil Girl’

The Air Force has written a letter to the Central Board of Film Certification complaining of her misrepresentation in the film ‘Gunjan Saxena the Kargil Girl’ released on Netfilks today. The Air Force has stated in the letter that the film has misrepresented the work culture of the Air Force as an organization which is a matter of concern.
It has complained to the Board of Certification about this. She has said that in some scenes of the film, the image of the Air Force is shown in such a way that it seems that women are not treated equally in the institute.

It has been said on behalf of the Air Force that there is no distinction between male and female employees in the organization and equal opportunities are provided to them. The film is made on the life of Air Force’s brave pilot Gunjan Saxena. Gunjan Saxena was awarded the Shaurya Vir Award for exceptional courage and bravery during the Kargil fight.

Now Jahnavi Kapoor was given a stand by the star and her on-screen brother Angad Bedi against the criticisms received by the film and they responded to the film’s Boycotters.
