Karnataka Bengaluru: MLAs urges CM to turn marriage halls into quarantine facilities

In the meeting, BS Yeddyurappa, MLAs from Bengaluru suggested that marriage halls with huge capacities located on the outskirts of the city should be used to quarantine asymptomatic Persons.

As the COVID-19 cases increase in Bangalore the number of patients gets admitted to intensive care units in designed hospital shot up to123 on Friday. The same count was only 20 days back on June 6.

Meanwhile, the Karnataka government allowed health worker testing positive and are asymptomatic for coronavirus to be in-home quarantine.

 During the meeting, MALs suggested that marriage halls with huge capacity located on the outskirt of Bengaluru should be used to quarantine asymptomatic persons.

Responding to the same CM Yediyurappa said that action has been taken to identify. Further, the CM said, “officer have been also directed to monitor the treatment given by the private hospital to COVID-19 patients.” He further requested MLAs to inspect hospitals in their respective constituencies to report the situation there.

Among these various measures discussed to contain the spread of coronavirus in the distribution of Ayurveda medicines to increase immunity levels among the general public. In addition to the same, it was also decided to give greater impetus to create awareness regarding precautionary measures.
